Mildred Winsor

(Gough) Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, June 2, 2008, Mildred (Gough) Winsor of Harbour Grace, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband Rev. Naboth Winsor, June 2, 1997. Left to cherish her memory are her two loving daughters: Lynne and husband John Smith, Harbour Grace and two cherished grandchildren: Stuart, wife Cathrina and precious great-grandson Felix and Sarah (Kory Brockway); Anne and husband Nathan Gosse, Harbour Grace and son Dale and daughter Kim; special grandchildren: Heather and Sandra Shute; sister Winnie Bennett, London, Ont.; brother Walter Gough and wife Mabel, Elliston; sisters-in-law: Jean Gough, Stanhope, P.E.I., Marie Winsor, Mount Pearl and Ruth Chute, London, Ont.; two special nieces: Kathleen Parsons and Shirley Gough, St. John's; dear cousins: Ruby Winsor and Tom and Marie Winsor, Wesleyville; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank her devoted caregivers Angela Squibb and Sue Rose, and the doctors and staff at the Carbonear General Hospital and the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, June 5 at 2 p.m. from Coughlan United Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Memorial Fund of Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 5 p.m., 7 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
