RIVERTON – Doris Floy Frame, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4th, 2008, at Valley View Villa, Riverton. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Robert Percy and Ruth (Harlow) Wentzell. Doris was a resident of Riverton all of her married life. She was a member of Wesley United Church, Eureka. She was a life member of the Riverton Women's Institute, a member of the Chelsea Women's Institute in Lunenburg County and a member of the Riverton Community Club. She attended Provincial Normal College. She taught school in Glengary and was an employee of the Home For The Aged (Valley View Villa) in Riverton for a number of years. She is survived by son, Robert (Sheila), Dartmouth; sisters, Elizabeth Curry, Hortonville and Carolyn Mulock, McGowan Lake, Queen's County; grandsons, Robert "Robbie" (Allison), Prospect and Stephen (Jennifer), Dartmouth; and great-grandchildren, Natasha and Lara. She was predeceased by daughter, Ruth Ann in infancy; her husband, Robert Wilson Frame; and her brother, Robert Wentzell. Cremation has taken place. Special thanks to the caring staff of Valley View Villa, many of whom became her friends during her 11 years in residence there, and her loving niece, Anne Curry. Memorial service will be held at a date to be announced. Donations in memory of Doris may be made to St. Columba United Church, Box 43 Hopewell, NS, B0K 1C0, or a charity of one's choice.
