Passed away on June 4, 2008, at the Health Sciences Centre, in the arms of his loving son, Matthew and wife, Bridget, while surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Emily Byrne; brothers: Ken and Leo; mother and father-in-law Teresa and William Power. Leaving to mourn, wife Bridget; son Matthew; sisters: Eileen (Bob Codner), Maureen (Pat Glynn), Tish (Laura Wolfson); brothers: Doug (Helen), Jerry, Michael (Gen), David, Joseph, Ron (Anne); sister-in-law Brenda Byrne; brother-in-law Gerard Mahon; a number of aunts and uncles; brothers-in-law: Michael Power (Val), Bill Power (Patsy), Patrick Power (Diane), Jimmy Power (Joanne); sisters-in-law: Alice Power (Gary Schafer), Mary Deavey (Terry), Anne Power, Patricia Rose (Terry), Catherine Ryan (Gerard); nieces and nephews: Lisa, Susan, Glenn, Leanne, Melissa, Jonathan, Ken, Valerie, Adrienne, Emily, Katherine, Amy, Sherry, Mark, Robin, Chris, Hannah, John, Jason, Michael, David, Andrew, Stephen, Mark, Scott, Jason, Frank, Lori, Jessica, Shannon, Bradley, Bruce, Jamie, Adam, Julie and Victoria, as well as a large circle of friends. Visitation at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay, Friday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, June 9th at 10:30 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay.
