RIVERTON/HALFWAY COVE - Elizabeth Abigail "Lizzie" Ryter, 99, Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of Halfway Cove, passed away, Thursday, October 11, 2007, in the Villa. Born in Halfway Cove, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late Enos Christopher and Eliza E. (Ehler) Dort. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Halfway Cove. Surviving are her sister, Gertrude Ross, Piedmont; several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Wiley; son, Charles Dort; sisters, Harriet Cameron and Lila Cameron. Visitation will be held 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow, and 1-2 p.m. Monday in St. James Anglican Church where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev.
