MCALLISTER, WALTER EMERSON Mr. Walter Emerson McAllister, of Snider Mountain, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on February 24, 2003. Born in Ripples, NB on August 15, 1927, he was the son of the late Walter and Jessie (Lunergan-Jordan) McAllister. Walter is survived by his beloved his wife of 53 years, Margaret (Gregg), his children: Shirley Ferris (Reg), Ernest (Nancy), Peter (Debbie), Murray (Carolyn), Barbara, Beverly West, Wayne (Carol), Earl (Micheline), Susanne (Nathan Phillips), Rachel Starr (Walter), 2 brothers: Aubrey (Viola) and Ivan (Sarah), 8 sisters: Mabel MacBeth, Marlene Taylor, Mary Bird (Dale), Lorna Kolls (Fred), Judy Perry (John), Brenda Fowlie (Ron), Ellen Molloy( Dennis) and Janice Chase (Jeffrey), his step mother Olive (Brown) McAllister, 23 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews Walter was predeceased by four brothers Lloyd and George McAllister, Ernest and Wilfred Jordan. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday 2-4, 7-9. Funeral Service will be held from Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church, 489 Main Street, Sussex, on Thursday, February 27, 2003 at 2:00 pm.
