FREDERICK RAYMOND MUNN
MUNN, FREDERICK RAYMOND The death of Frederick Raymond Munn of Scotch Settlement, NB occurred at the Queen's North Medical Center, Minto, NB on Tuesday, March 11, 2003. Born in Hayesville, NB he was a son of the late Wilbert and Lena (Brown) Munn. Mr. Munn was a Veteran of the 2nd World War, and retired as a Commissionaire at NBPower, Mactaquac. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 Fredericton, with 28 years of continuous service. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an outdoorsman. Mr. Munn is survived by his son, Myles Munn & his wife Kathy of Scotch Settlement, a daughter, Linda Nason of Fredericton; four grandchildren, Jacqueline Taker & her husband Ronnie, Jaleesa and Jenna Munn and Curtis Nason; one great granddaughter, Jade Taker; two brothers, Cecil Munn & his wife Vera of Fredericton and Wilbert Munn Jr. of Hayesville; two sisters, Dora Dunham & her husband Vernon and Olive MacKenzie & her husband Sidney all of Fredericton; one sister-in-law Jean Munn; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Clement, Eric and George; and one sister, Mildred McKay. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North on Wednesday, March 12, 2003 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2003 at 2 pm from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB with Pastor Ron Day officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Bloomfield Ridge Baptist Cemetery.
