NORRAD, LEONA KATHLEEN The death of Leona Kathleen Norrad of Holtville, wife of the late Jack Norrad, occurred on Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Holtville, she was a daughter of the late Aurby and Erma (Pond) McKay. Mrs. Norrad is survived by two daughters, Elma Young of Holtville and Jacqueline Lyons (Brian) of Doaktown; seven grandchildren, Lorraine MacLeod (Steven), Beverly Young, Darcy Young (Faye), Sheldon Young (Delhia), Lori-Anne Lyons, Kristi-Lee Lyons and Terri-Dawne Lyons; 10 great-grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one son, Leigh Edward, one daughter, Wona Alice; one brother, Lawrence McKay; one sister, Wona Wright; and one great granddaughter, Leslie Lee Young. Visitation will take place at Mrs. Norrad's residence, 654 Holtville Road, Holtville, on Wednesday evening and Thursday. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2003 at 2:00 pm from the Holtville United Church with Rev. Heather Froats officiating and Pastor Roger Gardner assisting. Interment will take place in the Cameron Hill Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers for the service are: Perry Norrad, Oswald Norrad, Paul Norrad, Manley Black, Gary Fowler and Douglas Lyons.
