SNOW, YOLANDE (YOLIE) Mrs. Yolande (Yolie) Snow, Bedford, NS. It is with hearfelt sadness we announce the sudden passing of our mother in the loving arms of her daughter, Ruth, as she tried so hard to wait for Happy-Lou, Mark and Chris to make her feel complete. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Robert and Mrs. Mary Josephine Thompson of Woodstock, NB. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Robert (Bob) Lewis Snow. Yolie and Bob began their life and family in New Brunswick and later moved to Toronto where they lived for 30 years. Yolie was a homemaker and mother all of her life. She was fiercely devoted to her family and faith. Yolie will be greatly missed by her children, Ruth Gaudet, Beford, NS, with whom she lived with for the past 4 years, Happy-Lou Snow of Toronto, Ont., Mark (Bev) of Saint John, NB, and Christopher (Sue) of Acton, Ont. Mum will be forever missed and in the hearts of her grandchildren, Katie, Christopher and Patty-Ann Gaudet, who all gave her new worries to fret over and hours of amusement. She is survived by her special niece, Susan Storring (Jim) of Dartmouth, NS, and her life long friends Evelyn and Fred Bayer, Bedford, NS. She is also survived by her brothers, Victor (Vic), Houlton, Maine, Vaughan (Brick), Woodstock, NB, and Jimmer Thompson and wife Kay, Juniper, NB. They provided her with many hours of happiness with their weekly phone call. She was predeceased by her sister, Jacqueln Page and her loving son-in-law Brian Gaudet. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2003 in St. Ignatius Church, Bedford with Father David MacDonald officiating. Interment to follow in St. John's Columbarium. Reception will be held at 39 Armadi Crescent, Bedford. Family and friends welcome. Arrangements entrusted to T.K. Barna./Funeral Home, Bedford.
