NEW GLASGOW – F. Harriet MacInnis, age 78, of Kennedy Court, New Glasgow, passed away Monday December 24, 2007, in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Thorburn she was a daughter of the late Adrian and Sarah (MacDonald) MacKay. She retired from MTT as chief operator after 35 years of service. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton, and the Telephone Pioneers. She is survived by sisters, Thelma MacLean, Valley View Villa; Wilma (Bert) MacLean, Stellarton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Vincent MacInnis; sisters, Sylvia, Mabel and Lorraine. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating. Burial will be in Thorburn Cemetery. Donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
