Florence Evelyn Cameron, 72, of Thorburn Senior Citizens, Thorburn, formerly of MacPherson’s Mills passed away Saturday, March 22nd, 2008, at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Westville, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Latisha (Taylor) Morrison. Florence had lived in MacPherson’s Mills for most of her married life. She had resided in Thorburn Senior Citizens Apartments since 1995. She was an adherent of Union Presbyterian Church, Thorburn. She is survived by sons, John (Elsie), Stellarton; Wayne (Cindy), Halifax; daughters, Jo-Ann (Robert) Rector, Thorburn; Nancy (Karl) Graham, Kenzieville; Sherri, (Tony) Cross, Salem; grandchildren, Lisa, John, Karen, Ashley, Wayne Jr., Jeffrey, Bradley, Jeremy, Cameron, Michael, Samantha, Holly and Taylor; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert, Joseph and William Morrison, all of Union Centre; Edward Morrison, Stellarton; sisters, Ida Cameron and Maude (Calvin) Cameron, both of Coalburn; Faye (Jimmy) MacLean, Union Centre; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Burns Albert Cameron, son Brian and sisters Annie Davis and Jane Kenny. Family flowers only. The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday in the H. W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday with Rev. Jeff Lackie officiating. Burial will be in the MacPherson’s Mills Cemetery. Donations in memory of Florence may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Union Presbyterian Church or the C. N. I.B.
