RYAN, MARION MADELENE (DAY) The death of Marion Madelene (Day) Ryan of Minto, NB, occurred Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edwin Ryan and daughter of the late Gordon and Laura (Bishop) Day of Chipman, NB. Marion is survived by six sons Raymond (Theresa) of Minto, NB; David (Linda) of Ripples, NB; Robert (Theresa) of Toronto, ON; Richard (Karen) of Keswick, ON; Vaughan of Red Deer, Alberta and Graham (Debbie) of St. George, NB; four daughters, Barbara (Robert) Layton living in Brampton, ON; Marg (Chuck) Marshall living in Noonan, NB; Karen (Allen) Miller living in Minto, NB; and Trish (Bill) Potter living in St. George, NB. Also survived by seven sisters Lorna Valentinsoen of Alberta, Doris Campbell of Montreal, Phyllis Hanley of Saint John, Agnes Smith of Chipman, Marlene Buchanan of Chipman, Elizabeth Day of Chipman, Greta Bussey Chipman and 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Mildred Stevenson, four brothers Amos, Malcolm, Clifford and Rolland, one grandson Paul Ryan. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home, 327-3490 with visiting on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the United Baptist Church of Minto. Interment will take place at the United Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Christian Action Federation of New Brunswick or the United Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
