Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, June 4, 2008, in the presence of her loving & devoted family, Mary Hawco, of Bell Island, in her 78th year. Predeceased by her husband Steve (2002), her parents Elizabeth & James Delahunty, her brothers Francis & John Delahunty, her sister Betty Miller and two infant daughters. Leaving to mourn with the most wonderful and happiest memories her loving children Dianne (Bill), Steve (Valerie), Joan (Keith), Terry, Don (Barb), Colin (Bonnie), Tony, Paula (Rodney) & Carol; also leaving to mourn are her grandchildren Scott (Theresa), Stephen (Kelly), Trina (Paul), Craig (Emerald), Stephanie (Todd), Shawn (Emma), Justin (Natasha), Evan, Jelena, T.C., Sam, Matthew & Adam; two precious great-grandchildren Todd & Tyson; her stepmother Mollie Delahunty; her sisters Margaret Kent, Kathleen Galloway, Evelyn (Aiden), Genevieve (Bill), Eileen (Ben), Joan and Patricia; her brothers Pete (Marg) and Kevin (Irene); her sisters-in-law Winnie Crocker, Eileen Hawco and Jose Sheppard (Hal), and also a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks go out to caregivers Miriam and Cynthia. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home on Thursday & Friday from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael's Church on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment in R.C.
