MCNEILL, CECILIA ANN The death of Cecilia Ann McNeill of Minto, NB occurred on Sunday, May 4, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born March 21, 1917 in Riverton, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth MacDonald. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Les Dames de Ste. Anne, Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch #12 Minto and Cursillo Movement. Cecilia leaves behind her loving children: Seven sons, Clarence (Brenda) of Minto, NB, Arlie (Judy) of Tampa, Florida, USA, Eugene (Daisy) of Minto, NB, Danny (Janet) of Minto, NB, Nelson (Diane) of Fredericton, NB, Vernon (Helen) of Calgary, AB and David (Joanne) of Chipman, NB; Six daughters Shirley Astles (George) of Fredericton, NB, June Cale (Doug) of San Francisco USA, Emma West of Minto, NB; Diane LeBlanc (Earl) of Maugerville, NB, Lorraine Krall (Dale) of Minto, NB, Jocelyn Morrell of Minto, NB; one step-daughter Rita Henry (Donnie) of Kirkfield, ON; 90 grand and great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins and family friend big Al. In addition to her parents, Cecilia was predeceased by her husband Harry McNeill; twin daughters Mary and Elizabeth McNeill; step-daughter Leola Curtis; step-son Earl; 3 sisters Mary, Josephine and Martha; three brothers Hughie, Jody and John Dan; several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2003 from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father S. Diotte officiating. Interment will take place in St. Brigits Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB.
