SHAW, ROSALIE MARGARET Rosalie M. Shaw of Harvey Station passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on May 5, 2003, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Woodstock on October 2, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Robert Ambrose and Stella Elizabeth (Graham) Burpee. Following her high school graduation, Rosalie attended Teachers College and UNB and taught school in Woodstock, Fredericton and Harvey Station for more than 16 years. She was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dale P. Shaw; two daughters, Christy Shaw, Fredericton and Diane MacLaren (Joseph), Harvey Station; a son, Jeffrey Shaw (Katherine), Harvey Station; four sisters, Ruth vonRichter, Marjorie Hickey (Chester), both of Harvey Station, Joyce Mason (Arlo), Woodstock and Barbara Clark (Cecil), Ontario; six grandchildren, Benjamin, Sarah, William, Kaden, Shane and Isabella; several nieces and nephews. Rosalie was predeceased by three brothers, Herbert, Gilford and Lloyd Burpee. Resting at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station with visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church, 2414 Route 3, Harvey Station on Thursday, May 8, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Robert Adams officiating. Interment will be in Cherry Mountain Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandson Benjamin Shaw and nephews Dennis Hickey, Terry Burpee, Dale Burpee, Robert Mason and James Mason.
