CHRISTIAN, AMY BEATRICE Peacefully in her 84th year, Amy Beatrice Christian of Devonshire Terrace, Ancaster, Ontario (formerly of Fredericton, NB) occurred on Monday, April 28, 2003 at the Hamilton General Hospital. Born in Carleton County (just outside Hartland). Predeceased by her husband Howard (2000). Daughter of the late Harry and Beatrice Birmingham. Predeceased by one brother, Lloyd Birmingham. Amy was raised on a farm just outside of Hartland, NB. She later served as a clerk for the Dept. of Defence during World War II in Ottawa. She married Howard Christian on October 30, 1947. Amy worked with Howard as a team in several groceries stores including the ABC grocery store (Nashwaaksis). She was a loving wife to Howard and a loving mother. She is survived by her two sons, Dr. Beverley Christian (wife Chris), of Waterloo, Ontario; Wayne Christian (wife Rea), of Ancaster, Ontario. Grandmother of Andrew, Brenda, Jocelyn, Scott, and step-grandchildren Tarah and Adam. Visitation on Monday, May 26, 2003 from 7-9 pm will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton. Service will be conducted in York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at 11 am with Rev. Kevin Culberson officiating. A reception will follow. Interment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery.
