HINE, LLOYD B. The death of Lloyd B. Hine of Burtt's Corner occurred on Friday, May 23, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Burtt's Corner, he was the son of the late Bernard and Dora (Bird) Hine. Lloyd was formerly employed with Fredericton Housing, and then worked as a carpet and flooring installer for Coates and Haines, as well as for himself. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking, and was known for helping his neighbours. Lloyd is survived by his son, Daniel Hine (Melinda) of Napadogan; his daughters, Hope Saunders of Fredericton, Kelly Hine of Woodstock, Tracy Hine (Greg) of Fredericton, and Sara Hine (Tom) of Woodstock; brothers Donald Hine of Cape Breton and Richard Hine (Debbie) of Scotch Lake; sisters Jean Branscombe of Fredericton, Doris Berna (Andrew) of Kamloops, BC, and Marion Love (Eldred) of Mactaquac; grandchildren Jack and Sandi, Misty and Milo, Jesse, Randi and Rachel, and Jake; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A graveside service will be held on Sunday at 1:00 PM at the Burtt's Corner Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
