LYONS, FERRIS RUDOLPH The death of Ferris Rudolph Lyons of Carroll's Crossing occurred on Thursday, June 19, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, after a period of deteriorating health. Born on August 10, 1944 in Carroll's Crossing, Ferris lived the majority of his life in Carroll's Crossing until he needed professional care due to his declining health. A trucker by trade, Ferris drove several different types of trucks during his career, and he enjoyed playing cards with his friends. Ferris is survived by his daughter Norma and his pride and joy, granddaughter Felicia, of whom he thought the world; his wife, Joyce (Long); daughter Sandra; and son Jamie. He was predeceased by his parents, Hazen and Margaret (O'Donnell) Lyons. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, on Friday from 2-4 and 79 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM from St. John's Anglican Church, Carroll's Crossing. Rev. David Titus will officiate. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
