BREWER, ZULA EILEEN Zula E. Brewer of Zealand passed away July 7, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Zealand on February 19, 1944, she was a daughter of Almina (Guiggey) Brewer and the late Allison Brewer. She is survived by her husband, Vernon L. Brewer; three daughters, Carolyn Fullarton (Jerry), Stanley, Charlene Morehouse (Adrian), Bull Lake and Carmen Gallagher (Carter), Kingsley Road; a son, Daniel Brewer, Zealand; her mother, Almina Brewer of Zealand; five grandchildren, Jason and Madeline Gallagher, Nobalee, Crystal and Amanda Morehouse; four sisters, Marie Morehouse (Oscar), Jocelyn Brewer (Skip), both of Zealand, Doris LeBretton (Lionel) and Violet Crouse (Harold), both of Burtts Corner; two brothers, Allie Brewer (Deborah) and Carson Brewer (Valerie), both of Zealand; a chosen sister, Janet Yeo (Danny), Zealand; three chosen brothers, Rick Brewer (Faye), Johnny Brewer (Debby), both of Zealand and Randy Brewer (Judy), Keswick Ridge; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Zula was predeceased by an infant daughter, Nobalee and four sisters, Carolyn, Virtue, Christina and Amber Brewer. Resting at the Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129 Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand with visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the church on Friday, July 11, 2003 at 2 p.m. Rev. Dale Brewer officiating, assisted by Rev. Donald McCarty and Rev. Arol Brewer. Interment will be in the Hilltop family cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Zula, the family has suggested the ICU of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital or the Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church building fund.
