BREWER, THOMAS EDISON "EDDIE" The death of Thomas Edison "Eddie" Brewer of Burtt's Corner occurred on Thursday, July 17, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Fredericton on August 30, 1971, he was the son of Thomas M. Brewer and Rena M. (Crain) Brewer. Eddie was formerly employed with the Department of Transportation and NB Power. He was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed hockey and Tae Kwon Do. Eddie was also an Associate Member of the Southampton Branch # 27 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Eddie is survived by his father of Fredericton; his mother of Burtt's Corner; brothers Trevor Brewer and Todd Brewer, and sister Thomasina Crain-Brewer, all of Burtt's Corner; his paternal grandmother, Ruth Brewer of Burtt's Corner; his maternal grandparents Perley and Della Crain of Fredericton; nieces Tanaya HayesBrewer and Savanna Bacon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Eddie was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, T. Edison Brewer. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North, on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday at 1:00 PM from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel. Rev. Graham Crandall will officiate, assisted by Rev. Leslie Greer. Interment will take place in the Burtt's Corner Community Cemetery.
