VROOM, LENA The passing of Lena Vroom occurred at her home in Fredericton on Sunday, July 20, 2003. She was 77. Born in Rosedale, NB, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Faye (Hendry) Vroom. She was a secretary with the Maritime Forest Ranger School. Survived by her children Jeff Vroom and his wife Sandra of Truro, NS, Janice Vroom of Fredericton; 2 grandchildren Matthew and Jonathan Vroom; a brother Weldon Vroom and his wife Marion of Fredericton; a sister Marjorie Gray of Niagara Falls, Ontario; nieces and nephews. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton with visiting Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the First Wesleyan Church on Duncan Lane on Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Karl Ingersoll officiating. Interment to follow in the Rural Cemetery Extension.
