FORRESTER, JAMES The death of James Forrester of Newcastle Creek, NB occurred Thursday, July 24th, 2003 at the Queen's North Health Complex, Minto, NB. Born 1907 in Glasgow, Scotland immigrated to Canada in 1922, was a member of Newcastle Creek United Baptist Church, a choir member for many years and enjoyed singing. Jimmy served overseas and was a veteran of WWII. He retired from Avon Coal Company and was a member of NB Coal Board. Jimmy enjoyed his camp at Princess Park with his family and Friends. Well known for his garden, and has had memorial trips back to Scotland. Survived by his loving wife Freda M. (Barton) Forrester of Newcastle Creek, NB; 2 sons, Thomas Elery (Jane) of Minto, NB and William James of Newcastle Creek, NB; a daughter, Faye Watson (Austin) of Marysville; a granddaughter Susan (Andy) of Minto, NB; a great granddaughter Emily; a sister, Chrissy Forrester of Scotland; a niece, Irene McLean (Roy). Predeceased by 2 sisters Kate Cummings and Agnes Colmar; a brother William Forrester. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting on Saturday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Sunday, July 27th, 2003 at the United Baptist Church, Newcastle Creek, NB with Pastor D. Phillips officating.
