COCHRANE, JAMES James Cochrane passed away peacefully in his Vanessa home surrounded by his family at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Bonnie Cochrane (nee Blakeney); devoted father of Sherri Long (Melvin Long) of Calgary, Jerolynn (Lynn) Cochrane of Teeterville, Harland James Cochrane (and Patricia Frandsen) of Petawawa and Debi Noye of Halifax; Grampa will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Marcus James Caleb Long, Jeremy James Noye, Sasha Gwendolyn Frandsen, Craig Morris Vincent Frandsen, Hilary Ann Cochrane, Zachary James Cochrane and Jaime Diallo Cochrane Thomas; Loving brother to Reg Cochrane (Hazel) of Abbotsford, Dorothy Bergman Raymond), of Teeterville, and Bill Cochrane (Caroline) of Waterford. Uncle Jim will be missed by all of his nieces and nephews. Jim served in both the Royal Canadian Navy and Air Force as an Aero Engine Technician. He was an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for over 20 years as a civilian in Fredericton and then a Federal Airworthiness Inspector out of London region, Ontario for several years. Jim was a friend to al he met and he will be sadly and dearly missed by all. The family will receive friends to share their memories of Jim and the Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford, Monday July 28th 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Vanessa United Church on Tuesday, July 29th at 2 pm. Interment Vanessa Cemetery.
