STILLWELL, ROBERT (BOB) The death of Robert (Bob) Stillwell of Fredericton, N.B., occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, July 29, 2003. Born in Fredericton, April 25, 1927, he was the son of the late Cleveland Garnet and Cora Jane Stillwell and husband of Joan (Seamone) Stillwell. Bob's career in radio took him from Saint John, N.B., to Newcastle, Bridgewater and Fredericton. Any one who ever heard his deep voice reading the news would always remember the clear sound. He is survived by his wife; two sons, David J. Stillwell (Beth) of Winnipeg, Thomas of Fredericton; one daughter, Julia of Fredericton; two stepgrandsons, Colby of Winnipeg and Jeremy of Middleton, N.S. He was predeceased by a son, Stephen (Kim) of Halifax, N.S.; one sister, Pauline Butler of Saint John, N.B. No visitation by request.
