BETTS, MAE EULA Passed away the Northern Carleton Hospital in Bath, N.B. on Aug 1st, 2003. Mae Betts of Centreville, N.B., was born on October 5, 1913 to the late George and Ethel (Tapley) Freeman. She is survived by four children, Freeman (Leona) Betts of Fredericton, Evan (Dan) Young of Ontario, Jessie (Frank) Spagnola of Ontario and Jean (Vernon) Estey of Zealand, N.B. Siblings - Jenny Drost, Mabel Taylor (Arthur) and Gilbert Freeman (Doreen); several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Irvine Betts; one son, Harold; one daughter, June MacFarlane; six brothers, William, Albert, Merrill, Ray, Myles, Irvine and one sister, Edna. Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville, N.B., where friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Sunday August 3, 2003. Funeral service will be held on Monday August 4, 2003 at 11:00 am from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chris Vanbuskirk will be officiating. Interment will take place in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Fredericton, N.B. For those who wish, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetic Association would be appreciated.
