Grant, Gladys Mae, age 97 of Glen Haven Manor New Glasgow and formerly of Autumn Crest Senior Citizens and Shelburne Street passed away Saturday July 19, 2008, in the Manor. She was a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (MacVicar) Conway. She was a former sales clerk at Zeller’s and a member of Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, George H., sisters, Isabel, Louise, Pearl; brothers, William, Douglas. Visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday in R.H. Porter Funeral Home New Glasgow with Rev. Richard Sand officiating. Burial will be in Lorne Street Cemetery. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
