SKINNER, MARGARET MARY The death of Margaret Skinner of Fredericton, NB occurred at York Manor Nursing Home on Saturday, August 2nd, 2003. Born in St. Andrews, NB in 1917, she was the only child of the late William Francis and Gertrude (McHugh) Craig and wife of the late Archie Skinner, a former golf professional well known across the Maritimes. Margaret was an exceptional nurse who gave extraordinary care throughout her career and at the D.V.A. in Saint John. She was a member of the Nurses Association of New Brunswick and the Retired Nurses Association. A loyal friend, Margaret was a member of the Fredericton Golf and Country Club as well as St. Dunstan's Catholic Church. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and especially that wonderful sense of humor. She is predeceased by her husband Archie and her parents. She was the last surviving member of her family. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Andrews Catholic Church, St. Andrews, NB on Wednesday, August 6th, 2003 at 11:00 am. Rev. Bill Brennan as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Andrews Catholic Church Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial gifts made to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
