CALGARY – Glenna Suzanne Fraser of Calgary, passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2008. She was born in New Glasgow but grew up in Saint John and was the daughter of Heather McGowan and Glen Borden. Growing up in Saint John, Glenna enjoyed coaching several soccer and basketball leagues in the North End. Following graduation from Saint John High School she went on to attend Canadore College in North Bay, ON and most recently resided in Calgary. In addition to her parents she is survived by one brother, Jared McGowan; one sister, Kali McGowan; and grandparents: John and Isabel Fraser and Betty Jennex and the late Otis Jennex. Following cremation a private family service will be held in New Glasgow at a later date. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
