SEQUIN, RICK The death of Rick Séguin of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday, August 5th, 2003. He was born in Hamilton, Ontario on April 1st, 1943. Rick was a cherished member of the Fredericton Arts Community since 1970. He was a companion to Brigitte Clavette; father to Natasha ClavetteSéguin and Luke and Christiane (Séguin) Magee and grandfather to Sebastian and Max. He is also survived by his parents, Harvey A. and Marie (Gagnon) Séguin of St. Lazare, PQ; brother, Raymond Séguin (Mona) of Banff, AB; sisters, Lise Marie Turpin (Alan) of Montreal, PQ and Anne Marie Séguin (Jose Dores) of Toronto, ON; nephews and nieces, Jesse, Cody, Christine, Alexandre, Julie, Elissa and John and his extended family, Rita Clavette, Shirley Clavet (Alain), Rodrigue Clavette (Sylvie), Jacques Clavette (Diane), Brune D. Clavette (Ambre Maeve) and Michael deVolpi. Visitation will be held at the Shambhala Buddhist Meditation Center, 20 Serenity Lane, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, August 7th, 2003 from 6-8 pm and on Friday, August 8th, 2003 from 12 noon - 3pm. Funeral service will be held at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Hanwell Road on Friday, August 8th, 2003 at 6:00 pm. Interment will take place at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined.
