DEGRACE, JOSEPH ADRIEN (ANDY) The death of Joseph Adrien (Andy) DeGrace occurred Thursday, September 4, 2003 on his 66th birthday at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Beaverbrook Station, Northumberland County and raised in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Amedee and Emilia (Boudreau) DeGrace. He will be deeply missed by his special friend Shirley Lamey of Stanley; two daughters, Lise O'Brien (Peter) of Edmonton, AB, Nicole Charters of Fredericton; one son, Marc (Penny) of Riverview, and their mother, Betty DeGrace, Fredericton; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Kelly, Jeremy and Branden; two brothers, Vernon (DesNeiges) and Alvin (Lorenda), Bathurst. Andy was predeceased by three brothers, Leo, Romeo and Raymond Andy was well known in the field of retail and wholesale jewellery having been employed by the firm A.I. Tower Ltd. of Bathurst for twenty years. He managed Tower Jewellers in Fredericton Mall for fifteen years. Although there will be no visitation, a memorial service will take place at 2 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2003 at St. Theresa's Church with Father John Jennings officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Holy Family Cemetery, Bathurst. For those who wish, rememberances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
