CHAPPELL, RUTH Ruth, affectionately known as Goofy Roofy by many, passed away at home in Napanee, Ontario, early on Saturday, September 6, in the company of her husband, Stephen, and children, Martin (Debbie) and Mary (Bill). She was also attended by her sister, Vera Tarnowski and brother-in-law, John Simonelli, and grandchildren, Tashina, Celia, Leaf and Naomi. A Life Celebration Service will be announced in the near future. The family is deeply appreciative of the gentle and caring attention offered by Ruth's wonderful doctors, the very impressive Kingston Regional Cancer Centre, her visiting home nurses, as well as her Home Care and Hospice care givers. Ruth would wish that donations, as expressions of caring and sympathy, be sent to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre, your local Canadian Cancer Society or Hospice organization.
