KENNETH PAUL MCGRATH

MCGRATH, KENNETH PAUL Kenneth P. McGrath, 56, passed away September 11, 2003 in Thailand, Bangkok of heart failure. Ken was born October 15, 1946 in Newcastle, NB. At a young age he began a successful career as an engineer for Ontario Hydro, working at both Lakeview and Nanticoke Power Stations. In 1976, he began the first of many years working overseas as an engineer and consultant, first in Lagos, Nigeria, and then to Johannesburg, South Africa; Venezuela; Singapore; Malaysia and Thailand. Surviving relatives include his mother Patricia Gunter, step-father Walter Gunter, sister Louise, Marilyn Anne mother of his children Kimberly Anne and Keri Lynn, grandson Jordan Paul and his father Stehan, Aunt Inez, son-in-laws Alex and David, and companion Nora, and her son Sean. Loved dearly by his family and friends, the memory of Ken's warm smile, determination, and kind infectious spirit will remain in the hearts of many. Kenneth's legacy and spirit will live on and forever shine through is daughters Kimberly and Keri Lynn, and grandson Jordan. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held Monday, September 22, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Whites Cove, NB. In lieu of flowers, his daughters have requested that memorial donations be made in his name.
