WILCOX, LEONA M. The passing of Leona Marie (Guitard) Wilcox, of New Maryland, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 18, 2003 at the age of 78. Born in Belledune, NB, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Paul and Elizabeth (Chamberlain) Guitard. Leona was a retired office worker with Elmo Canada of Brampton, Ontario and a member of St's John and Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband Max; one sister Regina Guitard of Bathurst; a sister-in-law Charlotte; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; four sisters Bernice, Mary, Marion and Emma; five brothers Emile, Reginald, Arthur, Charles and Dennis. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Friday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Sts John & Paul Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, September 20, 2003 at 2:15 p.m. with Father Ralph McRae officiating. Interment will be held at St. Columba Catholic Cemetery in Fredericton Junction following the service.
