OLEVIA OPAL WRIGHT

WRIGHT, OLEVIA OPAL Olevia O. Wright of Dumfries passed away September 23, 2003 at her home. Born at Burnt Land Brook on March 27, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Wilkins and Susan (Porter) Jenkins. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Southampton Branch 27, Royal Canadian Legion. Olevia is survived by three daughters, Helen Biggar, Ontario, Carrie Bradley and Gwelda Wright (Claude), both of Dumfries; a son, Eric Wright, Dumfries; a step-daughter, Ann Rideout, Mississauga, Ontario; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Wright, Knowlesville; two sisters, Mildred Paget and Ruth Gallant, both of Plaster Rock; a brother, Henry Jenkins (Vivian), Oxbow; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Oscar Wright on March 29, 1959, her second husband, Basil Coulthard on December 11, 2002, a daughter Betty on Feb. 20, 1959, a son Leslie on Nov. 7, 1984, three sisters, Stella, Annie and Myrtle and four brothers, Orville, Walter, Willis and Gordon. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Thursday, September 25, 2003 at 3 p.m. Rev. Robert Barry officiating. Interment will follow in Barony Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lloyd Gallant, Marcel Berube, Tommy Brooks, Claude Lanteigne and grandsons, Mike Wright and Basil Wright. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Olevia, the family has suggested the Barony Cemetery or Harvey Extra-mural.
