LONDON, HELEN JUANITA The death of Helen Juanita London of Fredericton, wife of the late Frank London occurred on Tuesday, October 07, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Zealand, NB, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Brewer) Merrithew. Mrs. London retired from York Manor Inc. as a Dietary Maid. She was a member of the St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church, Main Street, Fredericton, enjoyed flower gardening, quilting, and knitting. Mrs. London was survived by one son, Peter London (Brenda); one daughter, Donna Jewett (Lester) of Douglas; four grandchildren, Kyle London, Rebecka London, Emily Jewett and Erin Jewett; two brothers, Lorne Merrithew (Rose) of Burtt's Corner and David Merrithew of Zealand; two sisters, Myrtle Crouse of Fredericton and Nellie Brewer (Burchill) of Fredericton; a special companion, Wiley Currie; special niece, Jodie Brewer and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by an infant son, Daniel; two brothers, Henry and Paul Merrithew; three sisters, Marina Merrithew, Effie Burtt and Georgina Brewer. Although there will be no visitation by request of the family. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2003 at 2 PM from the St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church, Main Street, Fredericton, NB with Rev. Bill MacMullin officiating. A reception will be held in the Church Hall following the service. A private interment will be in the Douglas Rural Cemetery following the reception.
