THORNTON, SHALTA GERALD Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, October 3, 2003 at the age of 77. Lovingly remembered by his wife Vickey. Caring father of John and his wife Carla, Vince and his wife Andrea and Ken and his wife Joanne, loving grandfather to his six grandchildren. Shalta will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters: Ralph and his wife Phyllis, Jack and his wife Gloria. Darlene and her husband Eddie and Donna and her husband Fred. Funeral service was held on October 7th from Oshawa Funeral Home.
