MARK CANNING
CANNING, MARK Mark Canning, dearly loved son of Margaret Sparkes (Gregory) of Parksville, B.C. and formerly of Stanley, N.B. and Arnum Canning (Madelaine), Queenstwon, N.B. Mark was born in Hamilton, Ontario on August 18, 1960 and passed away quietly at home with his mother and sister at his side on October 15, 2003. Besides his parents and loved sister and friend, Colleen (Robert McGibbon) he is survived by one nephew, Angus and two nieces, Maude and Bridget who adored their Uncle Mark. Also, survived by many aunts, uncles and extended family, his two best friends, Kevin Lee of Toronto, and John King of Keswick, N.B. Mark spent many of his young years in Stanley, graduating from UNB and attending Ryerson Institute in Toronto before moving to Vancouver in 1989. He loved New Brunswick and the River Valley where he grew up and made many trips back home. Remember, if my ship sails from your sight: it doesn't mean the journey ends, only that the river bends ......
