Herbert Weldon “Skipper” Fraser, 82. It is with the greatest of sadness that we, the family of Herb Fraser, of 58, 7th Street, Trenton announce his passing on January 13, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, N.S., surrounded by his loving family. Born March 30, 1925, in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Herbert W. and Laura (Hendrican) Fraser. He was a lifelong resident of Trenton. A member of Branch 34, Royal Canadian Legion, Dad was very proud to be a veteran of the Second World War. He was a member of the First United Church Trenton. Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years Jean (Dillman) Fraser; sons, Danny (Juanita), Hamilton Road; Robert “Sonny” (Tana), Rose Ave., Trenton; daughters, Robin Langille (Carl), Lyons Brook; Patsy Fraser (Fred), Churchville. “Pops” will be sadly missed by his adored grandchildren Amanda, J.B., Jeff, Weldon, Cheyenne, Robert, Andrew and Shannon and his two great-grandchildren: Kaleb and Emma as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Dad was the last surviving member of his immediate family having been predeceased by his parents; brother, Robert “Bud” and sisters, Myrtle MacIsaac and Marjorie MacInnis and brother, Stuart in infancy. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A service will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the R.H. Porter Funeral Home Trenton. Je Suis Prest – Always Loved-
