MCGIVNEY, LOUISE GERTRUDE The death of Louise Gertrude McGivney of Stanley, wife of the late Ronald W. McGivney, occurred on Monday, October 27, 2003 at her residence. Born in Stanley, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Jessie (Keenan) McAloon. Louise had retired from Canada Post, after 15 years of service. A member of St. Patrick's Parish, Stanley, she had been a member of the Catholic Women's League for more than 67 years and was a member of C.N.D Association. Louise is survived by two sons, Ronald McGivney (Debbie) of Moncton and Donnie McGivney (Cindy) of Fredericton; a sister, Elsie Cleveland of Stanley; two sisters-in-law, Patsy McAloon and Jackie McAloon, both of Fredericton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Louise was predeceased by a sister, Mary Baker; and by brothers Harry, Louis, Roy and Walter McAloon. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12 noon from St. Patrick 's Church, Stanley. Rev. Mark Trzop will be the Celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
