Brenda L. Goodwin of Carbonear, who passed away peacefully at the Carbonear Interfaith Citizen Home, Carbonear on Friday, June 6, 2008. Ms Goodwin was in her 60th year. She leaves to mourn her loving family: Uncle, George W. (Frances) Earle; cousins, Lydia Ash, Lynda (Chris) O'Grady, and Neil (Susan) Earle. Special friend, Muriel Brewer. Long time special friend, Betty Howell and a large number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents John and Angela Goodwin. The funeral service will take place at St. James Anglican Church and Cemetery, Carbonear, on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 2 p.m. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade's Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear between the hours of 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday; 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday; and 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday.
