JAMES LETCHMORE AMOS

AMOS, JAMES LETCHMORE Mr. James Letchmore Amos, husband of Helen Mae (Storey) Amos of 496 Main Street, Doaktown passed away Thursday morning at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, at the age of 89. Born in Doaktown, NB, he was the son of the late Harry C. and Merle Woods (O'Donnell) Amos. He was a retired Lumberman and a member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Doaktown. Besides his wife Helen, he is survived by four daughters, Patricia St. Jean of Langley, BC., Deborah Amos of Toronto, Wilma Clowater (Jim) of Fredericton, Joy Amos of Halifax; three sons, Derrall (Judy) of Port Alberni, BC, Wayne (Donna) of Doaktown, NB, Ivan (Yvonne) of Port Alice, BC; two sisters; Mrs. Mary Green of Saint John, Bernice Robinson (Ben) of Shediac, NB; 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, two infant children, sisters; Zaida, Myrtle and Muriel; brothers, Cyril and Willard. Mr. James L. Amos is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 579 Main Street, Doaktown with visitation Friday from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 15, 2003 at 2 p.m. from St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Doaktown with Father David Titus officiating. Burial to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Doaktown. At the request of the family donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
