HODGSON, ISLA E. 1912 - 2003 Isla Hodgson formerly of Fredericton, passed away at the K. E. Spencer Memorial Home on Wednesday, November 19th, 2003. Born in Sackville, NB on April 16th, 1912, she was the daughter of the late William and Leah (Goodwin) Fillmore. Isla enjoyed gardening and knitting, and was a dedicated Caregiver, living for many years in Fredericton. She is survived by her daughters, Gladys Briggs, of Beaver Dam NB, Marie Hodgson (George) of Moncton, sisters, Erma Keirstead of Petitcodiac, Velda Millie of Alabama, a brother, Lorne Fillmore of Sackville, a daughterin-law Nancy, many grandchildren as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Tyler, a son Tyler Jr., a sister Verna , and brothers Howard and Harvey. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, with visitation on Friday, November 21, from 12 O'clock, until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. A reception for Isla's family and friends will follow in the Garden View Family Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
