SHAW, GORDON A. Gordon Alexander Shaw 95, of Moncton passed away at Lakeview Manor, Riverview on Thursday November 27, 2003. Born in Memramcook, he was the son of the Late Murray Whitmer and Clara Frances (Bolt) Shaw. Gordon was a retired Salesman for Domtar Ltd (Sifto Salt Division) with 45 years service. As a long time member of St. George's Anglican Church, he was a Past Warden of the Church, a Diocesan Lay Reader and delegate to Synod. Member of the Board of Camp Medley. Member of Keith Lodge # 23, F & AM for over 63 years, Past Patron and member of Frank H. Tingley # 5 O.E.S. for over 50 years. Life Member (50 years) of North West Commercial Travellers. Gordon will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years Ethel (Sammie) (Sansom) Shaw: Daughter; Susan (Smythe) Plewes and her husband Edward, Alliston, ON: Grandchildren; Deborah Smythe, Stockholm, Sweden; Heather Smythe, Vancouver, BC: Sister-In-Law Eileen Shaw, Charlottetown, PE. Several Nieces and Nephews in the Shaw and Sansom families. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Predeceased by his Grandson; David G.M. Smythe; Sister; Verna Lockhart: Brothers; Robert, John, Murray and Frederick Shaw. Visitation at St. George's Anglican Church Chapel, Queen St., Moncton, Friday 7-9pm. Frank H. Tingley O.E.S. Memorial Service, Friday 6:30pm, Keith Lodge Masonic Service Friday 6:45pm. Funeral Service at St. George's Anglican Church, Saturday November 29, 2003, 2pm. Archdeacon Reginald Stockall officiating. Reception following the Service. Interment, Fair Haven Cemetery.
