PRICE, EDNA MARY The death of Edna Mary Price of Priceville, wife of the late Joseph L. Price, occurred on Saturday, December 06, 2003 at her residence. Born in New Bandon, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Julia (O'Donnell) Harris. Edna was an avid bingo player, and enjoyed reading and knitting. She was a member of St. James the Greater Anglican Church, Ludlow. Edna is survived by eight sons, Hayward Price (Sandra) of New Hampshire, Beverly Price (Janet) of New Hampshire, Manley Price of Boiestown, Wayne Price (Doris) of Nashwaak Bridge, Perley Price (Marilyn) of Priceville, Hartley Price (Marilyn) of Doaktown, Alfred Price of Priceville, and Trueman Price (Devota) of South Portage; three daughters, Valerie Porter (James) of Doaktown, Meta Ward of Doaktown, and Vivian Lavigne (Andrew) of Fredericton; a brother, Ralph Harris of New Bandon; 23 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and several nieces and nephews. Edna was predeceased by sons Allan Price and Byron Price; brothers Tennyson Harris and Hubert Harris; and by a sister, Rita Murphy. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM from St. James the Greater Anglican Church, Ludlow. Rev. David Titus will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The active pallbearers will be grandchildren Jeff Porter, Jerry Price, Brandon Ward, Matthew Ward, Barry Price, Owen Price, and Sarah Price. The honorary pallbearers will be Yvonne Price, Viola Mullins, Betty Dalton, Louise Price, Carroll Storey, Darlene Magrum, Angela Porter, and Lana Burke.
