HAZEL MAE WHITE

WHITE, HAZEL MAE The death of Hazel Mae White of York Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Birdton NB, wife of the late James White occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, December 15, 2003. Born in Stone Ridge, NB on June 17, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Winford and Myrtle (Stone) Brewer. Hazel was a homemaker and a member of the Birdton United Church. She is survived by four daughters, Rowena Currie (Friend-John) of Royal Road NB, Guida Rog (Peter) of Kingsley Road NB, Shirley Dunnett of Lincoln NB, Mildred Anderson (Charles) of Kingsley Road, NB; two sons Floyd White (Friend-Gail) of Royal Road NB, Edison White (Faye) of Kingsley NB, 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by three sisters, Annie Brewer, Winnifred Corrier, and Bernice Brewer; one brother Clifford Brewer. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 18, 2003 at 2 pm. with Rev. Bob Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be Christopher Anderson, Anthony Boone, Trevor White, Darrin White, Wade Dorcas, and Roger Boone. Reception to follow at York Funeral Home's Fireside Room. The burial will take place in Birdton United Church Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances made to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
