LAWRENCE ALONZO (BUSTER) MERSEREAU
MERSEREAU, LAWRENCE ALONZO (BUSTER) Lawrence Alonzo (Buster) Mersereau of Hoyt, NB, passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital on December 28, 2003 at the age of 79. Buster is survived by his dear friend Reta Byron, six daughters, Krista Gosolin (Danny), Linda Morrison (Howard), Nellie Byron, Sherry Hebert (Ray), Shelly Byron and Julie Byron, five sons George Mersereau (Karen), Larry Mersereau (Colleen), Raymond Gillet, Ronald Gillet (Carol), Steven Gillet (Christine), three sisters, Gertrude Charleton, Madeline Charleton (Harry), Annie McClusky (Jack), two brothers Kenneth Mersereau (Marion), Ralph Mersereau (Marion), 19 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Buster was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Lighthouse and was employed as a truck driver with Ralph's Transport and a construction worker with the province of NB, until retirement in 1988. He is predeceased by his parents G. Raymond and Elsie (Kirkpatrick) Mersereau, his wife Helen Mersereau (Gillett), his brother-in-law John Charleton, daughter-in-law Marlene Gillet, grandchildren Megan and MacKenzie Byron. Relatives and friends are invited to Calvary Pentecostal Lighthouse on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be from Calvary Pentecostal Lighthouse on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Albert Galbraith, Rev. James Lewis and Rev. Leo Porter officiating. Interment to follow in the Patterson United Church Cemetery.
