STELLARTON – James Donald McLeod, 91, of Aspen St., Stellarton, passed away June 27, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Duncan and Jennie (MacLeod) McLeod. Donald worked for over 35 years in a management capacity for Zellers retiring in 1982. He had served overseas in the Active Army from 1943-1946. He is survived by his wife, the former Patricia Anne Fiefield and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Mildred and Isabel. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. today (Saturday) in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home with Rev. Peter Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery, Westville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton.
