EUREKA – James Edward Geddes, 41, of Eureka, passed away July 14, 2008, at his home. Born in Moncton, NB, he was a son of James “Wayne” and Frances “Gail” (McCullough) Geddes, Glace Bay. James had been a resident of Eureka since 1995. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Rose, Eureka; sister, April Leah Bouchie, BC; niece, Cecilia Frances Bouchie, BC; maternal grandmother, Frances Knight, Brantford, Ontario; mother-in-law, Maria (Adrien) Robichaud, Sheet Harbour; brother-in-law, Guy Chiasson (Nicole), Calgary; nephew, Joseph Michael Guy Chiasson, Calgary; brother by choice, Lester Wright, Eureka; father-in-law, J.P. Chiasson, Bay St. Anne, NB. He was predeceased by his paternal grandpa, Charles Russell “Poss” Landry; paternal grandma, Leah Landry; maternal grandfather, Thomas Edward McCullough. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton, with Rev. Gary Tonks officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Foxbrook Road. Family flowers only. Donations in his memory may be made to the family. A reception will follow the service at 6355 East River West Side Road, Eureka.
