BETTS, YVONNE HELEN The death of Yvonne Helen Betts of Central New Brunswick Nursing Home, formerly of Nelson Hollow, wife of Rolland Justus Betts occurred on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home, Boiestown, NB at the age of 85. Born in Doaktown, NB, she was a daughter of the late Edward John and Amy Bertha (Storey) Carr. Mrs. Betts was a member of the Doaktown United Baptist Church, where she was a past Sunday School Teacher and Choir member. She also was a Dominion Life Member of the United Baptist Women's Missionary Society. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Lillian Russell (Claude) of Doaktown, Audrey Arbeau (Keith) of Fredericton, Ida DuPlessis (David) of Douglas and Beatrice Delores Scheidl of Calgary, AB; one son, David Betts of New Westminster, BC; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; one sister, Irene Pratt (William) of Doaktown. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Betts was predeceased by her first husband, Henry John Storey, a daughter, Evelyn May Storey and an infant son, Henry Alexander Storey; five grandchildren, Wayne, Tommy, Carol Ann, Shirley Mae, and Bonnie Lou Parker; three brothers, Murray, Raymond and Douglas Carr. Visitation will take place at the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2004 at 2 pm from the Doaktown United Baptist Church with Rev. Peter Sudesh Valji officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the United Baptist Cemetery, Doaktown. Pallbearers for the service are: Jackie Parker, Jamie Parker, Michael Price, Mark Price, Jason DuPlessis and Jeffrey Arbeau.
