(Jack) Passed peacefully away after a brief illness on June 7, 2008. John (Jack) White of St. John's, aged 89 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Bride (nee Gosse); daughter: Sharon Hunt (Jim Moran); granddaughter: Heather Hunt (Greg Johansen), Calgary; grandson: Stephen Hunt (Cheryl Chapman), Calgary and their father Bob Hunt. Also the Doyle family; Sister Teresa Doyle (Torbay), Joe Doyle (Madeline), Hamilton, Ont., and Frank Doyle (Regina), San Antonio, Texas. As well as other relatives, friends and special neighbours who admired his love for the outdoors. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 12 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to Mary Queen of Peace Parish.
