PETERSON, PERLEY WILLIAM The death of Perley William Peterson of Upper Blackville, NB husband of Muriel (Petley) Peterson occurred on Thursday, January 08, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Upper Blackville, he was a son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Arbeau) Peterson. Mr. Peterson was a Veteran of the World War II, a Guide, Fisherman and Night Watchman. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4. Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Phyllis Graham of Fredericton, Dianne Edmondson of Fredericton, Theresa Kettle of Edmonton, AB and Debbie Sivret of Thunder Bay, ON; five sons, Gerald Peterson (Linda) of Fredericton, Darrell Peterson of Fredericton, Fred Peterson of Miramichi, Jimmy Peterson (Karen) of Moncton and Ralph Peterson (Nettie) of Edmonton, AB; 30 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; one brother, Sterling Peterson of Mazerolle Settlement; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Peterson was predeceased by five sisters, Martha, Catherine, Jennifer, Lucile, and Bertha and five brothers, John, Arthur, Thomas, Raymond and Elwood. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Sunday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2004 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel. The Fredericton Legion Branch #4 will hold a Legion Tribute Service following the funeral. Interment will be at a later date in the Upper Blackville Pentecostal Cemetery.
